Victoria Snow is a Gemini award-winning actress whose selected appearances in television and film include: Tilt, Wonderland, Queer as Folk, Open House, Jasper Texas, Stardom, Yellow Wedding, Only Minutes and Iron Eagle IV. Snow was nominated for a Gemini award for her appearance in the first season of Paradise Falls. In addition, she received a nomination for best actress in a continuing dramatic series for Paradise Falls, Season 2. She was also nominated for a Gemini award for her performance in a lead role in The Walter Gretzky Story.

Frances has seen enough psychiatrists to know what they are going to say to her. She's an alcoholic. She may have bipolar disorder, characterized by depression followed by manic episodes involving racing thoughts, an inability to sleep and exaggerated confidence. The last two years have been very painful for the Hunters. Frances' brother, Billy, moved to Orillia with his newborn child to be nearer to the child's birthfather and avoid losing parental rights in a custody battle.

With only Roxy for support, Frances returned to the bottle. She's been forcibly detained in a detox centre twice, where she underwent physical and emotional therapy. She was diagnosed with a mental illness in addition to her alcoholism, but Frances is unable to maintain any kind of chemical therapy. For the last two years, Frances has never been sober for longer than two weeks.

More than anything, Frances wants the pain to stop. It's been so long since she's has had anything even resembling a life, or especially hope, that she's given up on most of the social niceties. She's become even more socially belligerent and judgmental.
