LOS ANGELES, CA – July 26, 2006 - here!, America’s premium gay network, has acquired the film “Beastly Boyz,” a horror thriller from director David DeCoteau. The film, which features a fresh-faced young cast including Sebastian Gacki (“Smallville”), centers on vigilante Travis (Gacki) who seeks revenge on the murderers of his beloved sister, who speaks to him from beyond the grave. This bold, gripping film, produced by DeCoteau’s Rapid Heart Pictures, will premiere on here! in August.

Director David DeCoteau began as a production assistant for legendary producer Roger Corman in 1980 before directing and producing his first feature, 1986’s “Dreamaniac”. Since then, he has made over 70 motion pictures currently in distribution by Paramount Home Video, 20th Century Fox, HBO, and many other high profile entities. Over the course of his career, DeCoteau has collaborated with the likes of James Cameron, Wim Wenders, Ken Russell, Charles Band, Gale Anne Hurd and here!’s own Paul Colichman.
