The Point Foundation Benefit
The Point Foundation is an important organization which offers scholarships and mentoring to LGBT students who are marginalized due to sexual orientation or gender identity. It was a night of glamour at their benefit "Point Honors...The Arts" as the ladies from Sex and the City came out to celebrate as Cynthia Nixon was honored with The Point Courage Award. Also, Sarah Jessica Parker presented Time Warner, parent company of their HBO series, with The Point Inspiration Award for their years of support. It was a wonderful night in honor of not only the award recipients, but also the young men and women who have been given the opportunity to shine academically as a direct result of The Point Foundation.
